Cinderglo Sahara
Sarah came to Chekia looking for a king sized bed to sleep on
and a patio garden to guard.  She found both, and a lot of
love, admiration, happy times and fun to go along with it!
Sarah has the air of a true princess.  She walks into the room
and looks around as if to say, "Okay, I'm here now.  The
festivities may commence!"

One of Sarah's favorite things is to "go visiting".  A regular
social butterfly, she loves everything from getting brushed and
primped and ready, to riding in the car, to making her grand
entrance, to being loved on and admired.  Her social graces
are all Sheltie; never to much, never too little, and absolutely
ALWAYS the lady!

As a watchdog, not much gets past little Sarah.  She is not
only aware of potential intruders arriving by foot, hoof, paw,
and vehicle, but she is also very aware of the winged creatures
that dare to fly over her territory.  Many a hawk, eagle and
airplane have been scolded by a skyward looking Sheltie as
they pass over her designated terrain!  Interestingly, the
smaller birds, while not escaping her notice, do nonetheless
escape her chastisement.  Likely she is very aware of the
potential threat the larger birds may pose to the smaller
dogs in her charge, and to any little puppies, as well.
Ultimately, one of her dearest friends here is a little rabbit
called "DandyLion".  Lest any winged creature dare to
think of him as "prey" (despite the fact that he is safely
nestled inside the house), Sarah is ever on guard to be sure
they  make no stop here as they journey past!

Sarah is a wonderful mom and loves to mother all manner
of small and helpless creatures.  Although she wasn't raised
with children, she is still very interested in babies, and feels
it is a matter of utmost urgency if she hears one begin to cry.
Her bunny, Dandy:Lion, is well looked after in her charge, and
he has come to look for her first thing every morning.  Her
morning routine also includes checking on each of  the cats,
and letting me know if she feels anythning is amiss with
any of them.

I am deeply grateful to Luella Thompson of Cinderglo Shelties
for allowing Sarah to come here to Chekia.  I knew, when
I asked, that Luella would send me "a nice one", but I never
expected that she would send me "the perfect one".  Sarah,
indeed, is the perfect one.  Thank you once again, Luella.
