"Dawn" is the daughter of Lad and Jessey,
granddaughter of Japheth and Lassey. She is the
"adopted" daughter of Philia, her great aunt, who chose
her as a tiny puppy, and in who's honor she is named.
Something very precious from long ago Collies of
uncanny thought and depth of soul has been obvious
in Dawn almost since birth. She has the innate nature
of a therapy dog, seeking out those who need her
and knowing how to fulfill the need without ever being
shown, She is all at once intuitive, silly, gregarious and
sensitive. She's a show off who can stack and pose and
stare at liver with the best of them, and a couch potato
who can cuddle on the sofa for the whole of a rainy weekend. All wrapped up in the soundness of mind
and body that belies her ancestry; I would be hard
pressed to think of my beautiful Dawn as much less
than perfect!
