Meet Katie!

This 30 Pound purebred
Standard American Eskimo girl has a
sweet, quiet nature and excellent house
manners!

Six years is still a youngster in this longlived breed
(eighteen years or more is not unusual), Katie is looking
for a lifelong commitment from someone who enjoys
easygoing companionship, quiet walks, and a laidback
lifestyle.

Obedience trained and raised on a fresh food diet, this dog
has always enjoyed being a pampered house dog in good
health.
She is used to living with a larger dog, and with cats - This is
not a shelter stray by any means.  Katie would love to find a
home with a retired woman, but will be an excellent watch dog and
companion for anyone who will appreciate her gentle and loving
nature.  She has always been allowed free run of the house, and
would not understand being expected to keep her clean and lovely
self off the furniture!  Extremely intelligent, insightful, calm natured,
healthy and loving, Katie is big enough to protect her person, and
small enough to cuddle with you!

UPDATE: Katie has been re-homed
into a wonderful family in Northern CA!
Congratulations, Pat, on your new family member!

Meet Foxy!   (December, 2011)

This darling little Sheltie mix puppy
was abandoned and is being
rehabilitated in South Carolina

About Six weeks old, little Foxy is going to be a small
dog, and she's  also promising to be quite a little beauty,
as well!  Once those ears come up, she will look
more like the Sheltie mix she is, but she's already
showing Sheltie smarts and personality.  Her rescuer
will not be making her available until she's sure this
little one is fully healthy, protected from parvo, and
taught a few house manners..  If you're in the
South Carolina area and interested in giving little Foxy
a permanent home, please contact her rescuer directly.
